Dr. Darren McCauley
Darren McCauley is a Senior Lecturer in Energy Policy at the Department of Sustainable Development and Geography at the University of St. Andrews
Darren is the Director of the UK-Russia Arctic Research Centre, a collaborative research and teaching venture between St. Andrews and Moscow State University; Director of the Double Masters programme in Sustainable Development and Energy; Executive Director of the International Energy Justice Council; Visiting Professor in Energy Law at the International Hellenic University; Visiting Professor in Public Policy, HocihiMinh University Vietnam.
Darren read for his PhD at Queens University in Energy Policy at the Institute for Sustainability. He has held full time lectureships at Queens University, Stirling University and Trinity College Dublin.
Darren is currently funded by UK research councils (ESRC, EPSRC, ARCC) as well as charities (Carnegie, British Academy), esteemed organisations (Royal Society of Edinburgh) and national governments (Scottish). He also holds a number of funding review college roles for the EPSRC, ESRC, German Energy Ministry and Carnegie.
