Dr. Theodore Panagos
Theodore Panagos is a Visiting Professor of Energy Law and Policy at the International Hellenic University. He is a lawyer, member of the Athens Bar Association since 1981 and Managing Partner of PFG Law Firm (Athens).
He studied law at the Kapodistrian University of Athens. Subsequently, he obtained a LL.M degree at the Law School of the University of Salento (Italy) in Information Law and the Technique and Theory of Legislation and took a PhD degree in Administrative Law at the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace. He attended courses of International Commercial Law at The Hague (Holland) International Academy.
Dr. Panagos was Vice Chairman of the Regulatory Authority for Energy (2005-10), Member of the National Council for Energy (2006-9). He was a Member of the Committee of the Open Door Invitation for granting and using authorizations for the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons (2012-13). He is an Energy Arbitrator, listed in the Regulatory Authority for Energy Arbitrators List (2012- today). He was a Member of the Board of the Industrial Property Organization (2004-5).
He published many scientific papers and articles on energy issues and policy, e-commerce and e-government. He has presented lectures on energy issues (renewable energy sources, electricity market etc.) in Greece and abroad.
