Prof. Enzo Di Giulio
Enzo Di Giulio is an economist. He is Dean of the Enrico Mattei School, an institution which provides post-graduate education within Eni Corporate University, in Milan. Here he teaches "Environmental Economics and Policy" and "Energy Economics". He is also adjunct Professor of "Environmental Economics" at the University of Pavia, member of the Scientific Committee of the Journal "Energia" and the Editorial Board of the Journal "Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment". He is author of numerous scientific papers and researches on energy and environmental issues, many of which were presented in international scientific conferences (e.g. International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE), International Energy Workshop (IEW), International System Dynamics Conference (SD)). His main areas of research are climate change and international negotiations, market and oil industry, Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), sustainable development, renewable energy, monetary evaluation of externalities, capability approach. He carried out several energy and environmental modelling studies, being responsible for models such as CEPRIG (Calculation of Emissions and Policy Reduction of the Italian GHGs), a system dynamics model used in Italy’s Third National Communication, MiSS (Measuring Sustainability in Sen’s framework), IQual (Individual Quality of Life). He has been visiting fellowship at the University of Harvard (Division of Applied Sciences, Pierce Hall) and gave seminars in different universities, such as the French Institute of Petroleum (Paris), Bocconi University, Milan Polytechnic.
